A Treasure Trove of Music Trivia from Golden Oldies to Today!
Hello and welcome to RockTrivia 1.0. Here you can learn over 250 little-known and fascinating facts about the world of rock 'n' roll music from the 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's; or, test your wits about popular music and its roots against another player.
This game is based on the MacTrivia freeware game originally programmed by Kevin Killion. To play the game, simply drag the questions document from the rock era you wish to play (either "Golden Oldies", "60's Music", "70's Music", or "80's Music") from its folder to the same folder as the MacTrivia main program is in. Do NOT attempt to rename the document, as all questions must be named "Q" in order to work with the program. Of course, you will not be able to have two or more "Q" documents together in the same folder, so be sure to return each document to its appropriate folder when you finish playing that era. Each round will present you with 12 different questions, and you will have at least 5 different rounds in each rock era document before the questions begin to repeat. To clear the scoreboard, just trash the "Trivia Scores" document and RockTrivia will make a new one the next time you launch the program.
It was my desire to provide the most interesting and noteworthy questions for RockTrivia and to fill what I thought was a void for my friends in the Macintosh world. If you enjoy playing RockTrivia or appreciate the effort, please send a $2 shareware fee to:
